Ingredients

3 cups Judee's Whole Milk Powder

1/2 cup Judee's Superfine Caster Sugar

1/4 tsp Cardamom

1/4 cup butter, softened to room temperature (or ghee) OR 2 Tbsp butter + 2 Tbsp Thick Table Cream (Mascarpone Cheese)

1/2 cup water
Directions
Add whole milk powder, cardamom and softened butter to a large bowl. Using your hands, start combining and mixing ingredients together, up to 5-10 minutes until a crumbly mixture forms. Set aside.
Simple Syrup: Combine 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar in pot over medium low heat. When sugar has dissolved, and syrup feels slightly tacky, remove from heat. Be careful, syrup will be very hot.
Pour 1/4 of the syrup into the milk powder mixture and start combining again with your hands. Continue to slowly add the syrup until a dough like mixture has formed. It will have the consistency of playdough.
Press into a small greased pan to the thickness you desire. You don’t have to use the whole pan, you can shape any size rectangle. Keep pressing down until a smooth and compact layer has formed. Top with sprinkles. Use a sheet of wax paper to help press sprinkles into layer.
Barfi Milk Fudge is ready to cut into squares about 30 minutes to 2 hours after it has set at room temperature.
