Make Fava Bean Breadsticks like a pro using our Fava Bean Flour.
Ingredients
-
2 cups Judee's Fava Bean Flour
-
1/2 to 3/4 cups water
-
2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
-
1/2 cup of your favorite cheese (Judee’s Cheese Powders are a great choice!)
-
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
-
1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
-
1/2 tsp Dried Thyme
-
1/2 tsp Dried Basil
-
1/2 tsp Freshly Chopped Parsley
-
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Grease a baking pan, or line with a sheet of parchment or a silicon-baking mat.
Melt coconut oil in a medium-sized bowl. Add the cheese and all the spices to the bowl and combine.
Add the Fava Flour, and stir to combine.
Add the water and mix well. You may need to add a little more than ½ cup. Just make sure that the entire mixture comes together with no leftover flour in your bowl.
Form small, round balls (slightly larger than golf balls). Using the palms of your hands, roll and smooth these balls into breadstick shapes. About 8-10” in length.
Bake for 12-15 minutes (depends on how thick they are). Rotate pans once during baking. They are finished when they are lightly golden brown.
Enjoy!
